RETURNING TO WESTERN COLORADO AT THE END OF OCTOBER

Hi everyone!

My vision for Healthy Rhythm Art Gallery on the Gulf Coast didn’t work out like I planned. Due to zoning laws and local politics, the City of Gulfport would not allow live music events in the area where Healthy Rhythm Art Gallery was located. Yes, the realtor and the landlord knew what I wanted to do however, I was never informed of these very expensive obstacles until I was already there. After a long exhausting re-evaluation process, including much frustration and some dark days, I decided to return to Colorado, this time to the Boulder area to figure things out. I made it back at the end of March 2026 and all live music and gallery items have been stored in a climate-controlled storage unit. I’m now in the process of researching a new place to live, as well as a creative space for Healthy Rhythm. After 6 months of research, and taking into consideration my finances, sense of community, and my happiness, it looks like I’ll be returning to the Western Slope at the end of October.

To the artists who continue to contact me about performing and/or displaying your works, please hang tight and know you’re squarely on my radar screen. Right now I’m in the process of regrouping, recuperating, and researching.

Feel free to check out one-of-a-kind collectible prints and other artwork online at our Gallery Shop. Adding new items to the online shop is also a punch list item. You can also contact me via e-mail at healthyrhythm [at] gmail.com if you’re interested in something that’s not in the shop.

Thank you so much for your patience! Please know that I look forward to seeing old and new friends again soon.

Best,

Ken & Butters (d. 2025)
